Amazing baby factory in Spain
The Babyclon are hyperrealistic dolls made of platinum silicone, the same used in cosmetic surgeries. The resemblance to a real baby is impressive, they measure and weigh the same as a newborn baby and they do not need any detail. These are works made so accurately that they can be easily mistaken for a human baby.
Clone Factory, the first and only manufacturer in the world dedicated to the creation of babies: Clone Factory, was created in 2018, and is the only factory in Spain and, probably, in the world dedicated to these realistic creations, very used in special effects film. This company is located in the north of the country, in a town called Leioa, about 15 minutes from Bilbao. This particular workshop was born about 7 years ago and since then, have made numerous works for films, including the replica of the bones of the protagonists of Lasa and Zabala or the body of Loreak. However, only in the year 2013 launched the brand Babyclon.
10 people work in the small workshop located in the Barrio Monte Ikea. Each one of them has a table with all the necessary materials to work in each of the stages of manufacturing of the babies.
These almost real babies have turned the world around!
The almost real babies of Leioa have come to every corner of the world. The United States is the largest importer of the babyclons, although they have also arrived in Australia, Japan, Colombia, Brazil, Iran and all European countries.
The prices of the Babyclon vary according to the model and characteristics: the prices are also varied, depending on the model. The cheapest is the standard, i.e. the one extracted from the prefabricated moulds, and costs around 1,190 euros. There is also the possibility that the babyclon drink and pee, in this case the price goes up about 300 euros. Replicas of real babies and fantastic dolls like Avatar or evil are worth 2,500 and 1,800 euros respectively. The most expensive, however, are the animatronic, which are sold at 3,500 euros.
