Easy way to disinfect your bed mattress using baking soda
Do
you want to buy a new mattress because the one you currently have has
mites, dust and suffers from bad smells that are difficult to remove?
You can save money and time by using this methodology to disinfect
mattresses that very few people know. It's very simple and super
economical. You only need three things that you can have very accessible
in your home: sodium bicarbonate, essential oil, a sieve and a manual
vacuum cleaner.
Sodium
bicarbonate helps to eliminate moisture and deep dirt. Deodorizes and
leaves the mattress with fresh and clean smell, however, just make sure
that if you have tile, hardwood, or laminated floors, have something
prepared to clean or sweep, because you will have dust lying on the
floor after the whole process.
Essential
oil is a requirement, as this will bring to your mattress the aroma you
missed. Try to use essential oils that are both disinfectants, such as
thyme, rosemary, Eucalyptus and lavender, but you can also use others
that do not have disinfectant properties, such as cinnamon, chamomile,
jasmine, etc. That's your choice.
Disinfect
the mattress in this way and you will see excellent results. You can
do it once a month, or as you consider necessary according to the use
you give. Remember that there is always a practical economic solution
for everything that will allow you to save time, money and effort.
Combine these two ingredients into a covered container and shake.
Then sift through a strainer or sieve over the entire area of the mattress.
Leave to rest on the mattress for about an hour.
Use vacuum cleaner to remove the bicarbonate
